MIT - CSE Graduate Profile

Students who earned undergraduate degree in CSE shall be able to define requirements for various software applications; write system programs and low-level assembly language programs; and read, analyze and interpret electronic circuit diagrams. They shall also be able to identify and troubleshoot hardware failures in PC- and microprocessor-based systems and in network accessories as well as prepare operation and maintenance manuals of PC- and microprocessor-based systems. They can select and adapt current technological outcomes for computer systems, carry out upgrading activities, and install newly-arrived PC- and microprocessor-based systems and hardware. More importantly, they shall be able to design, construct, and/or implement: simulation models, digital systems and prototypes of computer-based systems, microprocessor-, microcontroller, and PC-based systems, PC-based interface cards, new ideas for customers of PC-based systems, and tools to upgrade existing software systems. Last but not least, they shall be in a position to supervise job performance of associate engineers and subordinates and periodic maintenance and repair tasks of systems already in service.
