MIT - ECE Graduate profile

Professionals graduated with BSc in ECE from MIT shall be able to develop software in high level languages to solve engineering problems, including PC- and microprocessor-based ones for real-time monitoring and control systems and digital signal processing applications. They shall also be able to: demonstrate the professional skill and dispositions to work efficiently as a member of an engineering team, communicate appropriately to various audiences, and understand the time, budget, and staff requirements of projects to delivering such projects on time with no additional costs. Furthermore, they shall be capable of determining work procedures of various work orders, critically observing safety rules and occupational hazard prevention techniques, and inspecting tasks completed by junior staff to ensure quality and compliance to safety regulations. Generally speaking, the graduates shall be able to take part in identifying, analyzing, designing, planning, installing, supervising, testing, diagnosing, managing, and/or maintaining different communications, broadcasting, electrical, and electronics equipment, projects, solutions, systems, techniques, and tools.
