Professionals graduated with BSc in EEE shall be able to identify, select, and analyze modern power supply systems, rectifiers, choppers, inverters, and dual and cycloconverters in power electronic conversions and adopt them in electrical drives for industrial and domestic appliances as appropriate. Also, they shall be able to identify, select, analyze, test, and install various AC and DC machines (including transformers and machines with MEMS) as well as cables and electric accessories in power distribution. Moreover, they shall be capable of undertaking performance evaluation of components of linear control systems and electric and electronic circuits using simulation software packages. They shall be able to analyze, design, and test analog and digital electronics-based control panels and efficient power systems meeting domestic and industrial requirements as well as DC/AC electrical machines. Furthermore, they would take part in planning, managing, inspecting, installing, testing and/or diagnosing electrical systems and operations and/or electrical projects and contracts. Finally, the professionals shall be able to demonstrate the required skills and dispositions in: estimating the cost of electrical installations and task volume of a given project or work order, inspecting tasks completed by technicians as per occupational requirements and safety standards, and strictly observing safety rules and occupational hazard prevention techniques.
